Voter Update is a CVR exercise that allows existing registered voters to update their already existing information. Update may include request to correct misspelled names, change of names, improper gender, date of birth etc.
Update Pre-requisite
- Applicant must be Nigerian
- Applicant must have been previously registered collected the Permanent Voters Card (PVC)
Steps for Voter Update
- Log on to https://cvr.inecnigeria.org
- Sign in
- Click on Application then select Update.
- Tick the check boxes on the Update pre-requisite page
- Search with applicants surname or last six digits of VIN
- skip revalidation process if already done else capture photograph.
- Click proceed to update and update necessary details of applicant
- Capture photos of supporting document and click on “Submit”
- Click “OK” to generate and print updated registration slip
